Every chapter house has the same problem: every semester the same set of items gets bought, breaks, or goes missing. This page is the running list of what's actually worth investing in — the stuff that pays for itself over four years.

Outfitting the house
Common room: a real speaker setup, two coolers in rotation, and at least one game that lives on the porch.
Kitchen: mini fridge in every room is a losing battle. One big fridge in the kitchen plus a dispenser cooler beats it.
Tables: an 8-foot folding table earns itself back in the first month. Use it for pong, formals, philanthropy events, and date functions.
Photo wall: chapter flag at the entrance. Composite frames in the common room. Permanent staples that survive turnover.
Anything with a battery: speakers, breathalyzers, mini fridges — keep them in the same closet so they don't disappear.
