Party Theme
USA Party
Red, white, blue, and loud.
USA parties are the most reliable theme in the playbook. Cheap to throw, everyone has the dress code in their closet already, and they photograph well in daylight. Best around the 4th of July, but they work any weekend you want easy attendance.
Where chapters go wrong: half-effort décor and a single American flag taped to a wall. The good ones go heavy on volume — flags everywhere, red/white/blue lights, USA-printed everything.
Throwing a USA party
Volume of décor matters more than quality. Get three big flags before you get one really nice one.
Tablecloths, cups, plates — all stars-and-stripes. The Dollar Tree route is fine.
Lighting: red and blue PAR lights on opposite walls, or red/white/blue string lights. Don't mix in random colors.
Dress code: jorts, USA tanks, bandanas, anything from Old Glory. Make it explicit so people commit.
Music: country / classic rock / patriotic anthems mixed with party hits. The playlist sells the theme as much as the décor.
